This is a CE position and, as such, a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career.
Job Description:
Assisting with the administration of the Ocean to City race and Cork Harbour Festival. General administrative and secretarial duties incl. taking phone calls, emailing, data entry, archiving, photocopying, and laminating. Processing incoming participant entries, following up on outstanding matters, and liaising with participants. Other assistance duties as required by the organisation.
Ocean to City and Cork Harbour Festival are organised by Meitheal Mara, Cork’s community boatyard, and training centre. You will receive guidance and training throughout your time with us and will be part of a community organisation.
This is a great opportunity to work in a friendly team and develop office skills. There is also plenty of opportunity to gain experience in particular areas of interest, for example, marketing, website updating, event production, social media, PR, excel, sales, etc. Good organisation skills, communication skills, and computer skills would be desirable.
